We landed here on bank holiday Sunday teatime, place was pretty much fully reserved. We were prepared to eat at a bar table (which prob was a bit small for us but we didn't mind) and they we're happy to accommodate us there. However, when a party did not turn up they kindly moved us to that table. Drink and food were lovely. One of us ordered a game pie, it was slightly grisly and lacking much meat but when mentioned the staff they could not have been more apologetic and helpful (despite us feeling we weren't in a position to complain due to how well we had been treated). Matthew who was waiting on was very attentive to our needs couldn't be more apologetic and replaced the meal with a different dish of choice and ensured us the cost be removed from the bill. If we could have given him all of our tip we would have done. The service was outstanding from the girls at the bar to the waiting on staff. Particularly when it was so busy. A massive positive in comparison to the reception a friend got from a relatively local pub a few weeks back. With a few of us being residents of Riverside View we will definitely be back. Had a meal here 25/2/2017. The staff were great and very friendly. The food whilst not cheap was excellent and there was plenty on the menu I could have ordered. Portion size was average. I'd say the food was very posh pub food. Due to the prices and portion sizes we'll save this for special occasions. Shame as I could eat here often. You get what you pay for!
Absolutely fantastic.
Only booked 45 mins before we went. Luckily they got us a table.
Fantastic surroundings, great atmosphere, staff were friendly and always smiling.
Food was amazing, fast service..but not too fast.
Top quality food.
Highly recommend.
