We didn't even mean to go yo Knutsford on this particular day - we are from way down south in Kent for the Neighbourhood Festival- and we're just mooching around town when we discovered the Courtyard Coffee shop. We only stopped for coffee but it was excellent coffee and the staff were delightful. Add to that the time-stopping beauty of the enclosed yard, I just have to share our experience... We went back the following day for brunch and my wife had a bacon and cheese croissant, our friend had poached egg on toast and I had scrambled egg and salmon croissant. The very generously filled croissants were delicious as was the poached eggs on toast. I particularly recommend the iced latte. Thank you all at the Courtyard.

What a beautiful place to eat and relax. Its a wee haven! Truly delightful. The staff are so welcoming,professional,nothing too much trouble. Very refreshing in this day and age. Food awesome. Can't recommend highly enough. �

We lunched here yesterday on a very wet and miserable day. What a total pleasure it was � all the food was divine but the hot ginger cake !!! Oooh! People mega friendly without being overbearing. A total delight. ��
