My wife and I visited this little gem of a place today for lunch and were not disappointed. The service we received from the waiter was perfect, the food arrived piping hot and was delicious, this was washed down with 2 ice cold pints of Staropramen. We have been staying in a little village called Heyope (about a 10 minute drive away) the last 4 days and go home tomorrow, our only regret is that we never found this place on our first day so we could have worked our way through the menu day by day.

My partner and I had the Fillet Steak and Wild Mushrooms last night from the Valentine's menu and it was absolutely faultless. Cooked medium/rare and it melted in the mouth, it was so tender. Compliments to Ivan the Chef who was on duty! The Strawberry Cheesecake was very nice too! We highly recommend the food at the Horse & Jockey. 5*****

First time we have eaten at the restaurant & we were allowed to feel very welcomed by the owner and staff, service was exemplary. Ordered off the Christmas menu (with recommendations from Stephanie) - we were not disappointed - food was simply quite delicious. We will definitely return. Great food, atmosphere and service.
