We had a lovely meal in the small restaurant. Service and food were both excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed what we had. The sweet potato tempura with wasabi mayo dip was the highlight for me along with the Maki. Katsu chicken in the Platter was nicely cooked although I would’ve liked a Katsura curry sauce with it. Will definitely be back though.

Popped in for some lunch and was more than delighted with my food and the experience. Started off with the loaded katsu chicken fries, this was very reminiscent of a poutine but with a lovely curry sauce in place of the gravy. The portion was generous, I could easily have eaten more though as they tasted so good. For the main event I opted for a tonkatsu ramen with chicken katsu. Again, this was delightful. The chicken was cooked to perfection and nestled perfectly on top of the dish. The vegetables were a highlight, they had a lovely seared taste to them which really added to the flavour of the dish. The broth was well balanced between saltiness and flavour too. All in all, a lovely dish. I'll definitely be back in the future to try some other items on the menu. There were so many varied options that caught my eye. A good addition to the ramen menu may be a tantanman sesame broth option, I would love to try their take on this. Service was fantastic, very attentive and the chef Marcin was very engaging and keen to hear feedback on the dishes to improve the flavours. It's always good to see a chef who wants to learn from their customers to give them the flavours and experiences that they are looking for.

Cycled here along the canal from Bishopbriggs and had a lovely lunch. Delicious salmon teriyaki. Generous portion of salmon and tasty pickled veg. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Would definitely go back! Sat at a nice wee table in the sunshine overlooking the campsies.

I moved 450 miles to Scotland last year and have found it difficult - I miss my home town and when it comes to food I miss my local Japanese. I got an Ad on facebook that this place had opened in Kirky and I now order from here whenever I can because not only is the food AMAZING in quality, quantity and presentation but it makes the hard days a little better! I love Nigiri and I hope they'll be around for a long time

This was such a pleasant surprise! My friend and I went for dinner last minute and we couldn’t have made a better choice! We both got a bento box each and it was delicious. The portions were ideal and each item was cooked to perfection and goodness, the sushi! 🤤 The waitress couldn’t have been more polite & helpful. I’ll be recommending!

We were a party of 4 older people, who were not particularly familiar with Japanese cuisine. I have dined in a few high class Japanese restaurants in Asia and Australia, so had a idea of what to expect. The food we had ( small plates ) was similar to what you might get, if visiting asia. The range is decent, I think most people would be able to find something to eat, particularly as the staff are helpful in guiding and informing. Our problem was that 4 people ordering 3 plates each, we had trouble remembering who was supposed to get what. Our problem not the restaurant's. The prices are not excessive, the food good, not perhaps Michelin star, but nothing to complain about. Decor was quite Asian, giving a snug noodle bar feel. It's a bit hidden away, I've been getting around Kirkintilloch for a few years now, and had now idea it was there. But if your looking for a reasonably priced meal, that's a bit different, it's worth a try.

We have visited Nigiri today and ordered few dishes. Chicken teriyaki bao buns, chicken katsu curry, tonkatsu ramen with dumplings and fries for a little one. Portions are big and food is delicious. Very friendly staff and we didn't wait long for food (we were there after 1pm). It's cash only so get some change beforehand. We were stuffed before finishing everything but you can pack leftovers and take it home which is brilliant idea. We have parked next to shopping centre and withdraw some cash in tesco. We definitely recommend this place.

Been a few times and the food is amazing! Come up from the south of Glasgow for the food. Chicken yakatori is lovely and so is the tempura tofu. Staff are lovely too. And if you come you need to try the deep fried ice cream! And the chicken wings!

Great service, the chef was very friendly and made personal accommodations. The food was very varied and delicious for the price. Music was really good too. Was a bit hard to find and I think it could do with a sign out on the main road. I think me and my friends would have visited sooner if so.

I ordered a Dragon Roll, Pumpkin Croquttes and Chicken Katsu Curry. The food was quite cheap at 30.50 as I ordered 15 pieces of Dragon Roll. The food was amazing, fantastic and just delicious. The restraunt is beautiful. The one thing that I would say is that there isn't much space as it is quite a small restraunt. So I would recommend to get there quick. In conclusion, amazing staff, fantastic atmosphere and delicious food 10/10

I had never had Japanese food until tonight. What a treat. That may be the best food I've ever had and I'm 38... So many wasted years! Wait staff were awesome and explained what everything was for me too, top marks

First visit here. Loved it and will definitely be back A wide ranging menu but as a vegetarian I was able to construct my own food that wasn't on the menu. Generous portions and reasonably priced. Parking outside and takeaway is also available. You would need to book as it fills up quickly.
