Amazing scones and good quality teas from this lovely family business originally from the Cotswolds. Wonderful and quiet place to stop while shopping, they do nice gifts and also offer afternoon tea. The kingston cafe is on the second floor of John Lewis Kingston by haberdashery. The cafe is furnished in very girly pink and oversized florals. The staff are friendly, some of the clientele are a bit humourless but that shouldn’t put you off. Overall a lovely experience.
I recently visited this cafe and had the pleasure of trying their cappuccino and chocolate eclair. The cappuccino was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of espresso and frothy milk.
The chocolate eclair was a delightful treat. The pastry was light and flaky, and the chocolate filling was decadently rich without being overly sweet. It was a perfect pairing with my coffee.
The atmosphere of the cafe was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastry. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience.
I'll definitely be returning to this cafe to explore more of their menu.
I paid around £20 for a Latte, a cappuccino, 1 chocolate éclair and 1 cinnamon swirl.
The best birthday experience.
I celebrated my 24th here on the 27th and had the best time. The afternoon tea was lovely, fresh, and really tasty. My little sister was also able to get her dietary needs not only met, but me to a very high standard. The tea room is so beautiful and clean, and the staff were so friendly and kind.
