Review based on a few recent visits.
The happy hour drinks during the week probably make it the cheapest place around to get a pint, with perfect riverside views to go and chill.
The food menu is a little limited, and found the QR code ordering doesn't seem to reflect what is on offer. Items on the printed menu on the table don't show there (Eg. The southern fried chicken flatbread the other evening wasn't listed but I could order it from the bar, and there were drinks out of stock as a pint but in-stock as 2-pint which didn't make much sense). Could do with that being looked at. Food was served fresh and hot - but would have been good to have the chicken piece cut up for inside the flatbread like they do at other places that sell the same. I'd have done that myself, but no cutlery was left after bringing it over.
Views are great both downstairs and upstairs. During the week, tended to find most of the tables reserved. Even with over an hour away from the reserved time on the sign, was sitting down for food and a few drinks by the window - was being turfed out my seat to go elsewhere. (I think he was a manager who wanted me to move, not the most polite but the lady who spoke with was very polite and friendly so think is the exception and not reflective of all the staff who work really hard here and with a smile)
Drinks cold and fresh, took a bit to find something in-stock over the last couple of weeks with freshers week, but my most recent visit seemed to be back to normal with plenty to pick from at a good price.
Top points - The bar staff are fantastic - reason for the 5* on the service rating, the location is great and the drinks are a good price.
Reason for 3* instead of 5* in summary:
The rude attitude of the guy when was sitting in an area he wanted emptied and hour before the sign - left a very negative impression as everything else is 4* / 5*..
QR code ordering unreliable - would be useful if worked properly so could focus on work instead of going to the bar..
Limited food menu and could have done with cutlery and bit better presentation - Not a major thing though.
Grabbed a few pictures to add to the review to show it's in a great location with top views.

Update 13/10/2023...
Have increased the stars from 3 to 4.
The guy behind the bar this afternoon around 4pm was friendly and made for a great experience.
Gave the food another go as well. The ordered item of southern fried chicken flatbread ended up being out of stock after ordering. But manager (guy in white shirt, sorry no name was obtained!) sorted it perfectly but seeing if happy to substitute to a normal chicken but everything else the same. It was perfect, enjoyed the meal - hot, fresh and tasted great. Thank you.
I have returned to The Mill, it's great to have a pub overlooking the Thames along with a nice choice of beers, service with a smile and conversation. The menu looks good, I enjoyed my last meal but have not eaten here today. Great pub, great place and a really relaxing atmosphere by the Thames. I like it.
super friendly place! affordable drinks and the prettiest view of the river :) my favourite place to come with my friends
