It's amazing! Although I probably go too often that the staff are now judging me which is fine because their chicken helps dull the pain of my constant crushing depression. Also the Oreo milkshake was lovely.
Can be hit and miss but generally this place is excellent. It's an upmarket version of KFC without the grease and sliminess.
The boneless chicken and waffle is great and the 8 piece is real value for money. It comes with fries with seasoning on and the chicken itself is like half a chicken breast each. The waffle is light and fluffy and whilst it doesn't go at all, is generally pretty tasty. It's all topped with a thin syrup-like substance which, whilst dividing my friends opinion, personally I really like.
I've also tried all the wings and special fries over the years. Every wing combo is outstanding and all have massively different tastes. The Campfire BBQ for me is the pick of the bunch. Fries are also pretty good, a fan favourite in our household is the garlic and parmesan fries, but I'll reiterate they are all good in their own way. Be careful around the Togorashi, they'll blow your head off if you're not a spice lover.
(I've never tried the bone in chicken so can't comment.)
Shakes are great too, really creamy, really tasty.
My biggest bugbears are two fold. They never have the card machine working, which is a royal pain in the arse and they also hardly ever have the root beer in stock, which in my eyes should be a crime punishable by death.
That said, if you're a fan of KFC you should take the plunge - you won't regret it.
Great shop. The food is excellent and really reasonably priced. Korean wings are amazing, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Staff are really friendly and the actual shop itself is really nicely decorated.
