Stayed here for a few days. Room was large and bed was comfortable Decor was nice and gave an airy feel lovely views over towards the hills. Kettle with tea and coffee provided and hairdryer and toiletries in the room. Had a problem with flies in the room before the outside bins were emptied as room was above the kitchen. Once they were emptied though the flies disappeared. Hotel is a bit out of the town and takes about 20 minutes to walk to the falls of Dochart, we were lucky the weather was nice, which made the walk pleasant. Good entertainment at the hotel on a Friday and Saturday. Staff very friendly and good choice for breakfast.

Food is standard - frozen chips, scampi, etc. Almost everything comes with chips and peas. Having said that it was piping hot and tasted fine. Good selection of whiskies. Live music is a hit or a miss. We were in on the first Friday in May and the guy singing did a full 3 hour set, non stop. He was fab and had the whole pub joining in. The Saturday night lot couldn't even stay in tune to their backing track and had zero interaction with the audience between songs - so it was all a bit flat!

Lovely hosts, great bar area, excellent breakfast. Over looked this when booking but not the fault of the hotel, however it was shared bathroom. Which they didn't bother me at all but just noteworthy I think. Breakfast was brilliant 😍
