Nice gastropub with consistently good food. Menu is constantly changing, so there's always a good chance you'll find something you're in the mood for. It seems to be getting more spruced up by the month . . . I'll leave it to you to decide whether that's a pro or a con.

We spent 3 nights in a "Superior Double" room that was nicely appointed, quiet and comfortable. The "double" bed is the size of a queen in the U.S.A. Service was friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu offers a nice variety and both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were very good. This hotel is a short walk from Kew Gardens and from the Kew Tube station which makes for easy transfers to London. The hotel has WiFi, but if you really need it in your room or if you have trouble with stairs, be sure to mention this in any booking request.

We loved the location and every staff member we spoke to was so lovely. We went during a very hot time and I understand the lack of AC but the room on the 3rd floor was pretty unbearable. Keep this in mind if there are hot days but other than that we had a great time. We ate at the hotel restaurant a few times with great food. Special thanks to Alice at the front desk who was more than accommodating and very helpful when my husband lost his phone. We would definitely return.
