So many good things to say about this place! Warm friendly atmosphere as we walked in and were warmly greeted by our host.
There is a really nice selection of starters and mains which made it hard to decide, so will one day have to come back.
Fish was absolutely delicious and all food came out piping hot.
Take a look round the walls for a history of Jedburgh and it’s past locals. I was advised it used to be the school back some hundred or more years ago.
If you’re there to check out castles and abbeys, make sure you stop here for a bight to eat
Popped in for a late lunch and wasn't disappointed. The battered Eyemouth haddock was amazing light batter. Staff, although busy, were welcoming, helpful, attentive, and polite. We will be back
À great traditional Scottish pub. A great simple menu. The homemade soup was lovely. A seperated dining area from the main bar. Try also the haggis meatballs. When your done you can pop into the main bar and have a game of pool, where the friendly locals will chat with you. Parking was free in front, only about 5 places and right next to the Abbey. Serving staff were very friendly. This was a authentic Scottish pub.
