A lovely place to stop and have a refreshing beverage while walking the Stour and Orwell Walk. Friendly landlord and good selection of beers. We didn't try their food (hence only 4 stars) but will definitely be back to try later. Lovely warm feeling in the dining room and a lovely little beer garden.

Will definitely go back to this country pub with a nice grassy garden and places for the kids to play imagination games while the adults chat. Friendly staff and close to a footpath down to a beach on the Stour for kids and dogs to cool off.

Picturesque, peaceful surroundings. Quaint, country pub Friendly and welcoming. Delicious food. A secure, child and dog friendly garden. It's a proper traditional country Pub😊
