Excellent, refined cooking and gorgeous river views are how I would describe this restaurant. My husband and I were seated at the third floor overlooking the river; it’s a beautiful setting and perfect for a romantic date. Service is good as well, prompt and efficient but not intrusive.
We ordered the slow cooked lamb shoulder and the roasted monkfish tail for our mains and the strawberry tart for our dessert. Every dish was excellently-prepared. Special compliments to the chef for the lamb - it was so tender and succulent. Possibly the one of the best renditions of lamb we have tasted in recent times.
My husband and I went here while on vacation and we had an all around great experience. We hate tourist traps that serve mediocre food and this was definitely not a tourist trap and the food was delicious. The service was also very good. We had the fish cake to start and the venison for our entrees and it was all amazing. We also enjoyed the quiet atmosphere on the upper level and the views. Definitely recommend booking here.
The venison dish at The Kitchens Brasserie is truly exceptional. From the first bite to the last, it's a culinary masterpiece that left me utterly impressed. The venison was cooked to perfection - tender, succulent, and bursting with rich flavor. The accompanying sauce(I believe plum) was a symphony of complementary tastes, elevating the dish to new heights. The presentation was exquisite, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. The Kitchens Brasserie has truly mastered the art of venison preparation, and I can confidently say it's the best venison dish I've ever had. A must-try for any food enthusiast!
