What a very nice place. First time I’ve been. love the deco and the atmosphere was lively. The staff were very smart and spoken well. When the food came (my fathers starter) it looked fantastic. Not sure what it was but he left me some. A very smooth but tasty pate on a toasted bread which was very light. I ordered the steak!!!! Rare to medium with thin chips ( looked like thick potato crisps you get in a packet) and spinach with balsamic dressing it think. Oh my god!!!! Cooked to perfection the steak. No fat to be seen. It just melted away in your mouth. What a great mix. I would recommend this charming bistro to everyone. Thank you so much for a lovely evening dinner with my father. Very much enjoyed it. And will be back for more. Oh Sorry about him walking into the bar area and talking to head chief. Spike whitaker and my dad Michael whitaker.

Can’t wait to go back here. Great atmosphere, friendly and passionate staff and amazing food. A great independent addition to Ilkley. Perfect for lunch, dinner, drinks or Sunday brunch!

Fantastic!! Amazing restaurant, first class food and lovely atmosphere. The restaurant has been finished to a high standard and the food from Matt and his team was fault less. The dessert of brandy snap basket and brownie one of the best desserts I’ve ever had, that good I didn’t even let my husband have a spoonful. It’s great to see an independent restaurant in Ilkley and I can’t wait to go back. Well done Matt & Kerry
