Went along to the Artisan Craft fayre. Was my first visit, won't be my last. There is lots of parking, they have seating indoors, outdoors. They even provide cosy blankets, just in case you get chilly. They have a large seating area upstairs, shares the menu. Think upstairs is called Sky lounge. They serve a wide variety of snacks and meals. They have Gluten free and vegetarian options. They are also fully licensed. You can also take your 4 legged friends, 7 days a week. They even have a doggy station. That provides bowls, water and treats. It is surrounded by beautiful views and the birdsong only adds to your experience. Even said hello to a beautiful horse, called Buttons. His Mum was painting his hooves, for protection. He was 25.
Been to this Cafe and Shop for the first time today and I will be coming again. A little pricey with the hot meals but well worth it I'm sure you will agree when you visit. Off the main road ( A 6096 ) and is down a track to a newly built cafe area. It is extremely clean and tidy with staff who are nice and friendly. If walking with the dog there is also a neat dog station waiting for your thirsty canine. Highly recommended
I had the Farmers Wife Breakfast, Bacon was delicious, Sausage was juicy, and plenty of butter for the toast! Heinz Beans (which are always the best) and the egg was perfectly cooked! All Free Range too! My Bro and Dad both had the Omelettes and they looked huge and delicious. I took a Lemon Meringue Pie to take away and had that with a nice cuppa tea later in the day and that was sublime too! Price wise its about right, and the location is lovely! Will visit again, interested in Sunday dinner next time in the Sky Lounge!
