What's better then a competitor to nandos. Mouth watering, succulent chicken. Way cheaper then nandos and dare I say the food tastes better.
Also if you fancy gournets burgers they certainly have a good selection yo choose from. Franzos is definitely a place to try.
All their burgers from chicken gourmet, lamb gourmet , loaded box , chicken wings everything was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender with lots of different sauces.
Long queue on the weekends but the service was excellent.
We had heard a lot about Franzos and decided to try it out on a weekday to avoid the weekend rush. Surprisingly the place was packed even on a Wednesday evening which was a good sign. We waited to be seated but soon realised it was self service. Disappointed though that the waitresses saw us standing and didn't make any effort to let us know that it is self service. We sat and were given the menu, the waitress mumbled something and left. When we wanted to order she gave us a sharp look and said "I TOLD YOU ORDER AT THE COUNTER!". Gosh bit extreme! The servers definitely need some training. HOWEVER it was all worth it in the end as the food was GREAT and excellent value for money. The chicken was succulent and the burgers awesome. Will definitely come back :)
The chips are 10/10 and their tandoori burger and piri piri burger are also the same. great value for money. for 2 people would recommend (forgotten the name) but its four burgers, 2 chips and 8 wings - £18
Amazing food, super fast service, great prices and huuuge quantity! Totally worth wait as there was a line which usually is here late evenings. The perfectly grilled peri peri chicken!
Just been to Franzos Ilford and What can I say! I would say it is the best flame grilled restaurant in town.. its the best in terms of quality and price.. we were welcomed by a member of staff and he showed where to sit... which was very nice of him and then we ordered the food at the check out and the food was brought to us.. the chicken was the highlight and it was very tasty, tender and finger licking good! I highly recommend you to visit Franzos and you won't be disappointed for sure!
Whenever I visit my family in Ilford, this is the place i go to.

Almost replica of Nandos but nearly half the price.
Got a single platter (full chicken , 2 large sides) and a mixed platter (full chicken, 10 wings, 2 large sides). The chicken itself was amazing, juicy and succulent - best quality I’ve had ever. Chips were great - crispy and fluffy inside. Wings were falling of the bone - again, great quality.
The coleslaw was sooooo good and creamy. Best combination if you order the hot / extra hot flavours to balance it all out - highly recommend.
Service was good, well paced and staff seemed friendly.
Atmosphere is really nice - good deco and the seating options are brilliant. At the back, they’ve got a large seating area that can easily cater for your huge group.
They’ve also got a prayer area which is a plus.
Got 5 cans and a milkshake too.
Came to £62.
When its about Halal you will find me their. One of my favorite places. Quality food excellent service. Standards at its best. Excellent staff with good training. Food standards with Halal services is excellent attraction to the customers luke me. Nothing is better than halal food.

❗️Other: we visited the ilford lane branch however they have a number of other branches. We visited on a Thursday evening and it was full luckily we didn’t have to wait to be seated however they do have a seating area if you do need too. Like Nando’s you have to get up and make the order at the till and give your table number, what I found handy was that although they take card payments they also have a cash machine inside if you want to cash out too. No complaints with the food was really nice and would go back. (Just so your aware this place has no signal on your phone 😂 not sure why)
Franzos chicken always has its unique taste... however, this time the burgers surprised me completely... ordered the lamb smashed burger... damnnnnn..... it was melting in the mouth... juicy and tender... distinct however not overly spiced... deffo going for the burger again...
Reasonable price... drink doesn't come with the meal... gotta order separately.
The place was busy as usual...
In my opinion they have opportunities to improve their service a bit... the order taker was not informative enough and kinda cold while taking the order.
Clean atmosphere... Good place to chill with friends
