The pakora sandwich is too die for.
I've had their Indian and Chinese street food before and have never been disappointed. Just had the Crunchy Pakora Burger meal with spicy wedges and a drink. Fresh, delicious and more food than I could eat for £6.99. Going back soon to try the Paneer Burger!
Vegetarians are well catered for at this excellent local establishment.
Keep up the good work
Fantastic. Stopped off on my bike expecting something average but found a place which exceeded all expectation. Keep it up.
The chicken wings - once you have these, you will want to return again and again. Absolutely love the concept of wok wala.
AMAZING food! Have ordered take away three times and it has always been of a high quality and arrives hot! Have ordered a mixture of veg and non-veg dishes - none have been a disappointment. Excellent and friendly service too. My favourite food joint at the moment!
I live a short walk away from wok wala and had driven past it a number of times not thinking much of it. I decided to visit; what a pleasant surprise.
They specialise in indo-Chinese cuisine and let me tell you the food is delicious! It is cooked right before your eyes and tastes really fresh.
Best if you order a takeaway however as there is very limited seating in the restaurant.
If you happen to be in Ilford or the surrounding areas I highly recommend you visit.
Small restaurant located in the middle of Seven Kings high road. Pan Asian with choice of Indian/chinese orientated ingredients to make your main dish.
Meal:
Sticky Wings
Ribs
Tempura prawns
Combo 1
Ho fun noodles/lamb/sweet and sour
Combo 2
Ho fun noodles/chicken/ black bean
£25
Wings were nice and tangy, ribs were juicy and coated in a nice fusion of sauces and tempura prawns were light and crispy.
4/5
Sweet and sour combo was very nice not too sweet and not too sour. Black bean sauce was not as saucy as it should be but still good. 3.5/5
Service was friendly and welcoming and Decor/size was small but good size for this takeaway/quick bite sort of dining
4/5
Overall
Quickbite/takeaway Oriental/Indian cusine
Good food and affordable price
Tip: food can be quite hot as they cook it fresh off the wok
The concept is a really good yet complicated one. The food is a bit hit and miss, sometimes brilliant, and sometimes not so much but has never been poor hence why I gave this place a 4.
This place is a real fusion place, hence why it works sometimes and not at others. You choose the base, you choose the sauce flavour and the ingredients and they cook it for you. Really well presented in an old traditional Chinese take away box which is always nice to eat out of, maybe only because it's different!
Their Bengal salad has to be best salad I have tasted. Use this place for takeaway more than eat in but food is always warm, well presented and good.
To keep things interesting I have tried so many different combinations which is why it's a hit or miss but this is not the fault of the restaurant, some flavours just don't go together and this would be my mistake, not the restaurants.
One downside for spice lovers and hence why it did not get a higher rating is when I do ask for extra extra hot, the food is always mild
The menu is simple and the options are limited and not overwhelming. The customer service was really good and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Really liked the customer service. The food didnt take much time to come and was piping hot. The portion was generous and I enjoyed my noodles.
Not many Chinese halal places around so we travel to eat in or pick up our orders. They have changed the box which is a shame for takeaway but the taste and service gives this place a solid 4 stars. Quality is good but portions are small. The chicken / lamb gourmet burger are very nice so make sure to try. Chilli chips very spicy and tasty. Price is good and you can see them making your food which is awesome. Overall a brilliant place so if you haven’t been, make sure you visit and support them.
I’ve never been too fond of Chinese food, but this place made me think twice about it! It’s a fusion between Indian and Chinese food. The concept of the business is excellent, and the food is the type to blow your mind. I went with three mates and we all ordered something different. I tried about of all four meals and I was thrown back by my taste buds break dancing... on all four occasions! The visit is always a pleasant one if you end up satisfied by the meal!
Quite shocked by some of the rude and inconsiderate people on here.
Food was really nice, had the noodles. Portion sizes were great. Staff seems very approachable. Only thing I would say is that my partner got madras sauce on his instead of the ordered masala. I mean he still enjoyed it and I must admit I had a laugh watching him eat something too spicy for him.
Thank you, keep it up guys x
Burger was delicious deffinatly worth a try! Nice fresh ingredients..... Good service and nice decor. Like the fact you can see them cooking your food something different especially with the make your own menu have had some yummy noodle combos!! worth a visit!
