After just leaving a toxic relationship on the morning that I had visited, I really needed a decent meal and drink to celebrate and I'm not one for drinking so I was settled with having a breakfast meal and tea. The breakfast was impeccable, I was even asked "how I liked my eggs" oh how I could have eaten more and the tea, oh the tea... Not many people make a decent cuppa, but I was in tea heaven. (I'm an avid tea drinker), but the lady who took my order was so nice, and her friendly smile and rich northern accent put a smile on my face. She took my order and offered to bring it over to the table where I was sat posting to Facebook about the morning I had (as one does). She showed kindness and asked I was alright and offered me a napkin. She must be a mother, as I have never received such kindness from any restaurant server before. She brought the breakfast over (to which I was highly impressed with her use of holding the plate with a napkin, hygiene was impeccable) I have never seen any other food caterer use this, with my large cup of tea, and yet again asked if there was anything else she could get, to which I did reply with "a decent bloke?" she laughed. It's rare that you people with a sense of humor, especially that early in the morning. I know that interactions with customers, can be tedious at time, but it is always nice to b able to have a laugh, it makes you wish to visit again. It's not often I leave or give feedback, mainly because not many people work hard to deserve it, but having been brought up in a home where my father was a food critic I was taught to appreciate not just the food that is served but the hands that give it. I shall be returning soon.
