Nice, old style tea room that you can sit inside with your dog and enjoy a cup of tea. They can even pop your drink in a to-go cup for those too busy to stop. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Thanks

Travelled to Hythe from Berkshire and found this gem of a place. Hubby and I decided to stop by for brunch. I had the tasty ham, eggs and bacon on the side as I kindly requested from the lovely and charming owner. This is the first time I had a perfectly cooked bacon (as to my liking) eggs all in one. They also have a back garden setting which is great. Overall this is a charming place, great food and coffee. Coming from hospitality myself, the service here is impeccable. We really enjoyed that day and will always be back.

Really enjoyed my stay at Brooks tea room. What a lovely place to go! A few days ago, I came here with some friends. When we all walked in, we were greeted by a warm welcome by the staff there and this honest welcome made me feel like I was in a home - like environment. We ordered and everything came in good time. Everyone enjoyed the food and drink they had. I had a hot chocolate and toasted tea cakes which were lovely and generous portions were provided. The pricing was reasonable and, if I’m honest I don’t know how they could improve because everything was great. I couldn’t recommend this place more it is a must visit next time your in Hythe.

We stopped here for a quick snack and weren't disappointed. Coffee and cake for the two of us was just what we needed after a long walk along the seafront. My cappuccino was perfect and the lemon and blueberry cake we both sampled was delicious. The sponge was really light and fluffy. I'll definitely be having some more of that the next time we're in Hythe. We were greeted and served by a very jovial and friendly host, and the background music was at just the right volume to be enjoyable without being intrusive. Although we ate inside, we could have done so out the back in the dog-friendly garden. It looked very pleasant but, as it was an extremely windy day, we opted to give it a miss.

Had a great simple cream tea and came back the next day for lunch in the back garden. very fair prices for what you're getting, fresh salads accompanying the sandwhiches. Tea is from teabags (not loose tea) but there's a generous selection and it's all presented very well. I was happy to bring visitors here for a very English tea experience. The proprietor was friendly and welcoming. She let us know it's under new management recently, and it sounds like they're trying hard to rebuild their reputation.

Have started using this café regularly. The service is always great and very friendly. Food is awesome and it won't break the bank either. My kids think they do the best milkshakes in town!

I am delighted that my regular visit to Brooks tea rooms is always a positive and a thoroughly pleasant experience. This lovely tea room is in Hythe High Street. The owners Sean and Rachel, with the help of the other lovely ladys Rachel and Penny. They are very friendly helpfully cakes and coffees certainly contribute to my meany visits. The traditional tea room ambience, along with the inviting sun trap of the garden, makes a perfect setting for a relaxing time if I am on my own or with a group. Thank you Brooks Tea Rooms

Ordered a bacon sandwich with bacon well done, came exactly as requested with a side garnish of salad. This was the freshest salad I have ever had. This place is going to be a regular haunt from now on
