Tried Laxmi the other day as we had passed it a few times on the way to Huddersfield,,,looked a nice place from the outside. Inside is even better ,,and the food is excellent,,and to make it worth the visit complete the staff are the best we've met out of a lot of places we've been to. It is also wheelchair friendly with a very well built ramp .

Best curry restaurant in Huddersfield by a mile!! Everything from the waiters to the food was really good. The Young lad that served our table probably doesn't realise how good a waiter he is. Asked us beforehand if any allergies or restrictions. The food was really nice and everything was presented well. Loved the giant plates that came for our main ( if the wife's handbag had been bigger I reckon she would of tried taking them home) Honestly, try the lamb samosa starter. It comes with a chickpea side which is devine. All in all we would highly recommend laxmi to everyone

I was recommended this place by a friend. The food was amazing!! Will definitely be ordering again. I ordered take out and this was really simply via their own app. I collected from the restaurant, which was very nice inside and looks like a lovely place to dine in too. The staff were really helpful and friendly too.

Quite delicious and flavourful food! Early enough to enjoy the delights from the early bird menu. We had onion pakoras and chicken kebab to start, which were presented very nicely and had some decent flavour. I also ordered some additional fish pakoras from the full menu - was a little disappointed by these, have had FAR better elsewhere, but the batter was light and the fish succulent but under seasoned! Then for mains we opted for Chicken Karai - sensational, full flavoured with tender pieces of chicken. Also a chickpea curry, which was very nicely spiced and delicious! The naans were rather tasty and the poppadoms were lovely and crispy and served with some tasty pickles and chutneys! Overall a decent evening out, the staff weren’t massively engaging at all, but it was a very busy night for them! Would visit again to try more off the early bird menu !!
