If anyone reads my other reviews they know I love my fish and chips. We were cycling the seafront cycle route from Goring to Brighton and had reached the pier. We looked for fish and chips and most places were what I call the tourist fish and chip shops. A quick Google search and I found this place. A real down to earth fish and chip shop. No frills and superb quality product. All cooked to order. We had the medium haddock and chips. Good portion sizes. Chips super and non greasy. Haddock really good flavour and lovely crispy batter. Well worth a visit if you want to have enjoy your food.. Only about 200 metres back from the seafront so easy to enjoy your food hot whilst sitting on the front,.

No frills neighborhood Chippy but the freshly cooked fish and chips were as good as any I've had in Brighton and Hove and better than many. If you want good food to take to the beach (though you can eat in if you wish) this is a great option.

As a hgv driver travelling all over the country Thursday is treat day. Parked on Shoreham docks for the night it's quicker to walk to Chippy chips in Hove than to a fish and chip shop in Shoreham. And well worth the walk it was. Fish is cooked to order (large cod and chips) so a 10 minute wait to have my tea on the seafront all worthwhile. One of the best fish and chips I've had in my life. Great guys who run the place, yes you'll turn up and think oh could do with a lick of paint on the outside but don't let that put you off. Go in, order and go sit on/by the beach (weather permitting) and enjoy. 100% will be back.
