Small tea room but massive on quality and choice. Great to be able to have a sandwich and scone without all the extra cakes. Full afternoon teas are available but personally I don't always want a full afternoon tea I want choice and Poppins delivers that in abundance. Always excellent quality. The luxury fruit scones are better than many of the bigger well known tea rooms. Outstanding value for money! Fantastic daily soups. Once visited. You will keep returning. Cannot be beaten for choice, excellent service, quality and value!

Had a lovely time celebrating a special birthday. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely be going back. We also bought two indulgent afternoon teas to take out!!

What a wonderful gem of a tearoom. Love the nostalgic feel of it, all the little touches that make you feel like your stepping back in time, just joyful. Delcious food, fabulous cake selection. Highly recommended. Can't wait to visit again.
