A walk around this lovely park is like going back in time. All the benches have something interesting on them. The flowers are beautiful. We took our 2 year old on the park equipment, which is safe and there is lots for them to do. Lastly the tea rooms. Such wonderful ladies serving and the chef/cook knows his stuff. We bought homemade quiche, orange and chocolate cake, walnut and date scone a fairy cake and a pot of tea with a water top up if needed. They do a beautiful afternoon tea which has to be booked in advance. The tea rooms close at the end of October. Well worth a visit
