I went here to meet a friend for a birthday meal. The bar area is a little dark but there was a pleasant welcome and the staff were charming and friendly. We sat in the beer garden to eat. I noted that there's a big sign saying dog friendly. It was certainly family friendly too which was very nice to see. There was an app for ordering from ones phone which I found a little impersonal. However my young friend did the ordering and we both chose the Cajun salmon. Often salmon is either slightly too undercooked or dry. This was not. It was fresh and cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice to lift the flavour without overpowering the fish. The hint of garlic and the bed of beautifully cooked peppers, onions, and courgettes complimented it beautifully. The accompanying sweet potato fries were crisp, light and very tasty. The apple and blackberry crumble I had for dessert was tart and refreshing with a delicious sweet buttery crumble topping with ice-cream and a little jug of custard. The portion sizes are generous and the prices extremely reasonable. The only downside was I was too full to finish the crumble. I can thoroughly recommend.

Took my toddler for lunch today, was beautiful food. Restaurant area is a little dark, but otherwise I can't fault the place. Food and service were spot on
