I haven't tried many fish and chip shops but among them(including some prize winners), this is the best I've ever had. Knowing the place for about ten years, I can say with no hesitation, consistency of the food quality is unbelievable.
Delicious chippy with great portions, would definitely come back next time I'm in the area, shop was quite busy but my order was ready in no time
We were in two minds when we drove up to this chippy after reading the terrible review left by Tim Crawford. But we were in for a pleasant surprise. When we pulled up to this glorious chippy, the decor was outstanding. It showed up the entire street. Once we stepped inside we wasted no time in ordering a fish supper and a cheesy chip, both shown on the vibrant yellow menu situated on the right wall. While we waited we were blessedly entertained by the legendary craic that Georgia's chippy is known for. And then, the food arrived. OMG. It was humongous . I was struggling to carry the bag. It was just so big. We thanked Georgia's worker and went out to the car to enjoy this incredible feast. The dog in the backseat was practically drawn to the smell of the extraordinary meal. When I took the first bite, it felt as though I had died and woken up in heaven, with the chip still in my gob. The box of cheesy chips was so big, I could not finish it, and neither could the dog. It was just so ginormous. The quality of these chips were nothing like Tim had described, and tasted like nothing I had ever tasted before. I thoroughly enjoyed these deep fried potato sticks. That was the best wee chipper I have ever had. Thank you for everything. We love you Georgia!!!
