Great menu, excellent choice to suit everyone, service was great and the food was lovely. There is lots of outdoor seating at the front and back and the church is at the back and pleasant to look at. The children loved the garden. Plenty of high chairs were available too.
There isn’t a car park so you have to park on the road. There is a step to get in which wasn’t great for me as there were no hand rails but everyone else was fine!
Since taking over the new owner, Ed, has created a fantastic village pub that has quick become a favourite of ours. The inside is fresh and inviting and the beer garden, with its beautiful views of the historic church, is one of the best in the local villages. We sampled the new menu and were both really impressed with the dishes and service. We’d heard lots about “the pie” and it lived up to all the recommendations. Ed, Tom and Dean have created a little gem here with a relaxed, genuinely friendly environment. Lots of veggie options. Baby and dog friendly.
Fabulous beer garden. Didn't eat just had a drink. Friendly guy behind the bar. Will be back 😃
