A superb hotel in a beautiful location. We stayed with friends whilst visiting Holmfirth and were very happy with our choice. The rooms are great with lovely views. The food was excellent too, both dinner and breakfast and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We returned to the hotel at 11pm after a concert and despite being closed they happily rustled up a hot chocolate for my wife. Very impressed!

Came here with my close friends and it was a perfect spot for a Sunday lunch after a walk in the peaks. There is a lovey greenhouse with tables and a beautiful panoramic view. The lamb roast was so delicious.. I forgot to take a photo of it before I started eating! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Prices were reasonable. I’d love to come back!

Very friendly, attentive staff who couldn't do enough to help. All the staff were working hard but they still kept asking if we wanted to order more food or drinks. The room we had was quite small but had an excellent view. Would definitely stay here again
