We have just returned from our stay of three nights, we loved the location, the building itself is full of character and we so enjoyed eating breakfast overlooking the splendid garden view. The food was beautiful and the service excellent. We were particularly impressed by the breakfast waiter with his calm and happy attitude. Nothing was a problem and all the staff were so friendly and helpful,the bedroom needs a bit updating re decor but as stated a soft refurb is in process and it was spotless and comfy. Thank you so much

Staff were amazing last Monday. Cannot recommend this beautiful place enough. The food was outstanding and the service and attentiveness was second to none. Immaculate and breathtaking. Thank you so much Stephen and the team for being so seamless with discretion and professionalism. Extremely friendly and welcoming - also do an amazing Sunday lunch and the accommodation is beautiful and central to the historic town. Absolutely cannot wait to come back, thank you.

We went for afternoon tea at Hitchin Priory, the food was plentiful, the service exquisite and the value for money amazing. I would highly recommend this for a couples, a group like us of 6, or even a whole room of people! It was lovely.
