Came here for the first time ever on Christmas eve. Decent food and very good service from the team there. We'll come here again. Was also particularly impressed with their safe and strict processes in this difficult pandemic. I felt safe here and was able to relax with my family.
I visited The Cat & Fiddle Harvester on Tuesday 17 March 2020 in the afternoon, a weekday during term time. I was with one other person.
I parked in the car park onsite - parking was easy.
The restaurant comprises of one fairly large sized main dining area with plenty of tables with full table service.
The team were very friendly and welcoming and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
I enjoyed the Cowboy Burger with some onion rings. The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted really good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. The food was very good value for money, I paid around £17 for the food and drinks.
Overall I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come and visit again.
We went for the ‘breakfast with Santa’ this morning and it was a delight. The whole team from the manager Mike, to our server Kat and, of course, Santa, was brilliant. Our food was hot and tasty, and the chefs obliged with our fussy kids’ requests which was great. The kids loved the chat with Santa and the treat from him, as well as the unlimited drinks. I would suggest the premises is a bit run down and in need of some TLC but overall we had a brilliant visit, we will return and would recommend
