It was my first visit here. Warm friendly welcome with a lovely atmosphere. Owner very nice and friendly. Instantly felt at home with my pot of tea and tea cake. A welcome haven on the wet day that it was! Looking forward to trying the tapas evenings here soon!

Review from my husband - me and eight other wet and cold cyclists turned up at the cafe door on Sunday having ridden down to the Devil's Punchbowl from near Reading. The cafe owner welcomed us in with a smile and warmed us with coffee and cake. The place was very clean and homely and the cake was amazing! I had the chocolate orange sponge cake and it was great (much better than the dry cake at the NT cafe up the road which I have been to previously). The owner was a really nice guy and went out of his way to serve us. Definitely recommended if you are out this way to visit the Devil's Punchbowl.
