This delightful ,wee cafe has not long been taken over by new management . Like the previous owners they have carried forward professional courtesy and a warm welcome from you open the door, this warm welcome includes the fire.
It is a compact comfortable pleasant environment . Upstairs is delightful also with a little fire-place.
The new owner is very hands on and my experience was good quality food and efficient service.
Soup ,sandwiches scones and traybakes delicious especially the Guinness wheaten bread.
While this quaint eatery , caters for the healthier pallet a cardiac delight breakfast as in an Ulster Fry or traditional Irish breakfast sometimes referred to , which we all can take at times at our own risk ; lol is also on the menu.
Great selection available and catering diversity most definetly on the menu for all.
All enjoyable food!! And service!!
I look forward to a return ..
It is indeed an added treat and bonus to beautiful Hillsborough for casual calm warm friendly dining if you appreciate it.
Look forward to returning .

A lovely little coffee shop, perfect for an all day breakfast. Good, strong tea as well. The only drawback is that downstairs is very small, and upstairs can be a little cold. It's best to snuggle by the log fire downstairs.
Charming little cafe , excellent fry and great friendly service A*
