New owners so ignore the old negative comments. The chippy is absolutely brilliant, they deliver to our work place each Friday for dinner for 10+ people it's never late, never missing parts, lovely and warm & absolutely tasty 😁 Fish & rag pudding are very nice. Get yourselves down to the wooden hut chippy now you'll not be disappointed.

We tried The Wooden Hut today for the first time and WOW, it was delicious and so fresh! The portion sizes were generous. I've never had such a tasty and fresh piece of fish from a Chippy. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Tried it for 1st time and will defo go bck wen in area again, its the best food I've had in a long while spot on I had fish barm mushy peas and chips xx 😋
