Went out for a coffee with the Dog. Never been before but thought we would give it a try. Was amazing as we got to see the steam train on arrival and was greeted by really friendly and welcoming staff. Was allowed to take out dog inside the carriage. The coffee was excellent . I didn't take a pic of the bacon butty because it was soo good. Dog even got a puppachino .

Came here at weekend while I was at the station, nicely decorated interior and staff seemed friendly. Definitely recommend the coffee! ☕👍

Decided to try this lovely little place today. Its on the end of the platform at the East Lancashire Railway. As its platinum jubilee the station had gone all out with people in dress costumes and a lady singing wonderful tunes from back in the coronation era. There was a steam train in the station which all added to the ambience. The cafe itself is lovely and clean with very helpful staff. A pie, peas and gravy is only £4.50 and I have to say the meat and potatoes pie is the best I've had in ages! There were other options too including vegetarian. Staff were lovely and definitely somewhere I will visit again.
