Went here for a work night out and I must say it was fantastic. The food was brilliant, the staff were wonderful to talk to and very accommodating, and the drinks were lovely. Sadly, I'm not much of agin drinker so I didn't have chance to enjoy the extremely large selection of gins available. However, they still have plentiful choices for fans of all drinks. I will say that I think they were a bit understaffed the night we went which did lead to people standing around at the be for 10-20 minutes at a time. I did the old 'buy two drinks at once' trick to save me waiting as long. It takes the bartenders a long time to prepare the great cocktails so I think having some more staff would have been a big help. Perhaps even splitting the cocktail stations and the beer taps would be a good idea, then those who just want a quick pint don't have to wait 20 minutes for annoying people like me ordering two fancy cocktails. Overall, highly recommend this place and I look forward to going again. I plan a lunchtime trip as I've heard they have great lunch options on the food menu that I'm eager to try.

Nice place to eat, staff are friendly and really professional. The decor is modern, beautiful and the menu is posh, I would say a Michelin start restaurant.

Food was delicious and it came out quickly. There is a wonderful selection of Gins with a handy guide to help you pick! Plus being sat by the fire is especially nice as we head into winter!

Enjoyed a nice lunch here today. Tasty roasted veg salad and good service. My only complaint is the outdoor high top tables are too high and the stools too low to comfortably eat at. Will be going back to try cocktails.

A fantastic night. Went on a Saturday night, there was brilliant music and a good mix of people -both young and old. I only gave it 4 stars because it took a very long time at the bar, with complex cocktails on the menu and only 5 people behind the bar, I was often waiting for 20 minutes...even when stood at the front of the bar.

Visited for the first time recently and I liked it! We spent the whole afternoon there and into the evening. There is ample seating with some cosy booths to happily sit and chat for hours. Table service for drinks and food, you don't even have to go to the bar! There is a more formal seating area for dining at the rear of the building and wine bar style seating at front. You can eat in either area. The ambience is good; candle lit throughout. Good selection on the menu, not too extensive but something for everyone. Mains are priced in the mid range, but did think starters were a tad on the expensive side. £8 for scallops and chorizo, which sadly was 3 pretty small scallops and a few small chunks of chorizo presented on a huge plate making them look lost. They were luke warm, too, but tasted good despite the above. The burger however was far better value at £10, big in size, tasty and came with fries and coleslaw. Much better value when compared to the scallop starter. Other mains were more expensive and I would be interested to see if they are as good value as the burger. Extensive selection of Gins, priced slightly on the expensive side but Gin is fashionable these days! Had the lavender gin, which came served with lavender flowers. Attractive touch which smelled amazing but sadly the dried flowers made it difficult to drink. All in all is a welcome addition the area, thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, the staff were thoroughly attentative and at no time did we feel pressured to move on even though we stayed there for over 4 hours. Will definitely go back.
