What a fantastic pub and restaurant. Ive driven past so many times and so glad we chose to stop. The garden area on a sunny warm afternoon is fantastic. The food is great and they have a good selection of beers and wines.
It was a bit warm for some of the bigger hit dishes so I had the Chicken Ceasar salad and my wife the Orzo Pasta, both were very flavourful.
The garden has a small house for children to play, full sun or shady tables on the terrace or in the garden and a small wildflower area leading out to the meadow behind.
We will definitely be returning.
This place is a little slice of heaven! If I could give it more than five stars I would.
Beautiful pub with a magical garden, backing on to wildflower-strewn fields. We had dinner, and the food was exceptionally creative. We particularly loved the desserts.
Service was very warm and we felt hugely welcome. Will have to find an excuse to go back!
We arrived just before 3pm, as they were finishing serving lunch, but they were more happy to accommodate the 3 of us. We ordered the meat meze board, scotch egg, trenchmore burger & Caesar salad and all our choices were fresh, well presented and very tasty. The manageress and waitress could not have been more welcoming. This was a random last minute decision to stop here and 1 we are very grateful we made. Also worth noting the spacious garden at the back which was a joy to sit in on a glorious day and that the place spotlessly clean.
