Utterly brilliant. There were 22 of us. 12 adults and 10 children. Sounds awful right? Not at the Crown Inn. Plenty of board games to keep the kids and adults entertained. Though, I lost at Scrabble 😥 Food was excellent and so was the service. Nothing was too much hassle and the cider was amazing. The star of the show was the fresh horseradish sauce. The best I've ever tasted, and made me wish I'd picked the beef. That said, the pork was amazing too. Will definitely visit again next time we are in the area. We need more of that horseradish and cider in our lives 😋

Very nice English pub with yummy food. Helpful friendly staff. Just the tables could have been a bit cleaner otherwise everything perfect. Had a great lunch with the family on a Saturday. Not too many people.

I'm not normally a fan of pub food as most places are rather standard and disappointing, however, the food at The Crown were exceptional! (even got a simple bowl of chunky fries right!!) The cheese souffle and crab bap from the daily special menu were superb. Texas pizza was a tad sweet for my liking but they have this hot sauce that spice up perfectly. Roast beef and cauliflower cheese were delicious. Generous portion for small fish and chips. Really friendly staff aswell, great service.
