I visited this restaurant on Sunday 5 November 2023. The coach drop off point was alongside the Market Place which is pedestrianised with plenty of bench seating. As I have reduced mobility,it was nice to only have to cross one set of traffic lights to enter the establishment, which is on a corner.
I sat outside..A nice touch was the free blankets provided,as it was a sunny yet slightly chilly day. I was served by the polite and attentive Thomas who was prompt with my order. I had a burger, chips and a bottle of cider, which cost me less than £40.00
There are inside toilets up a staircase. I used the ground floor wheelchair accessible toilet, which was clean and includes a nappy changing unit.
The atmosphere was relaxed and there were clearly many locals having lunch.
The Cotes Brasseries are a chain..and after being treated in a blatantly racist fashion at the Cote Canterbury establishment (head office was notified but disinterested)..It was a refreshing contrast in Henley. Well done to the staff training..👍😊
Very nice location in heart of Henley and very beautiful setting inside. Service was slower than average and there were a few issues with our food (items missing) however manager, Suzi, was excellent and sorted out the issues. Very pleasant stay - chocolate fondant is an absolute must for any chocolate lovers. 10/10
The service was excellent and the food was truly outstanding. We had the vegetarian breakfast and it was among the best have have ever experienced. It was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The service was very attentive, friendly and efficient. We look forward to returning very soon.
