I stayed here for a period of 12 days and though I didn't get a chance to review their lunch and dinner menus, my breakfasts here were lavish and delicious and everyday was an adventure.
Thanks to the very courteous staff here who would always get my order in a prompt fashion, I enjoyed my breakfast and reached office on time too!
My favourites here were the tiny mason jars which had parfaits, yogurts and cut fruits for an easy and to-go kinda breakfast.
You also have elaborate hot breakfasts which are truly heavenly. Almost majority of the days I had Arnold Bennett - a scrumptious deep dish made of eggs, haddock and generous dollops of cheese. Yummmmmm.
The Kipper and the Avocado on toast are very nice too. If you are particularly ravenous, I suggest the Arnold Bennett because it will fill you up. The kipper might leave you with a fishy taste for a long time (It's fish after all, so that's expected!)
Lovely place and such a warm ambiance. I could stay here forever!
Popped in for an al fresco lunch. First off we have never had fantastic service here. We sat outside and I got up to go inside and ask for some menu’s which is why one star less. However, once that was sorted we had a great experience. Lovely courtyard and delicious food. I had the duck, the OH had chicken with a side of mash. Suddenly realised we have an offer with the Henley Experience Card and the new Ops Mgr applied it with no problem. We had a bottle of house wine which was very quaffable and followed with the cherry, chocolate mousse and lemon tart. All together a thoroughly yummy lunch.
Enjoyed a great breakfast here during my 3 day stay.
