Went for a friend's birthday, Saturday 3rd March. The food was all freshly cooked and was delicious 😋 One friend and l shared the Fillet Steak for two there was crispy onion rings, tomato's, mushroom's, and chips, two sauces, peppercorn and blue cheese, (l don't like blue cheese but) this was yummy not overpowering.
Plenty to share. Friends had homemade pies which I had a taste of and were also delicious and plentiful. Another friend had a roast dinner which due to popular demand they serve Wednesday to Sunday Would have loved to have tried some pudding but was just too full. Which means I will definitely have to visit
again. The staff are lovely and friendly and Jay the chef came out to check we were all happy 😁
It is a small quirky pub with a lovely atmosphere, l do recommend that you book especially on a Sunday.
Would definitely recommend 😄👍
What a lovely quirky old-fashioned pub with good beer. That is not the end of it though. The homemade food was absolutely 100% good wholesome food, well-cooked and plenty of it. Service too was exemplary and everybody in the pub were very chatty, friendly & helpful. Will be back for sure
We went for a Sunday Roast and it did not disappoint. Beautiful location, attentive and helpful staff, and the food was incredible. The Lamb Henry was succulent and tasty, the veggies cooked perfectly and the Yorkshire puddings were delicious. We especially enjoyed the homemade Baileys ice cream, too. A delightful experience.
