Connor is doing some great things at Estate Tea Co. Apart from the obviously sublime tea drinking experience (enough speciality teas to keep you going back for months!), The food is really where this place shines.
With small batch specials and carefully curated menus, the chefs here always impress. Ask them for ideas for tea pairings, and you're going to have one of the best casual dining experiences in the city.
I have been wanting to go to this place and I have to say it surprises me that they do have many Authentic Chinese tea here which are the same with the ones I had in another authentic tea place. I would say this place is one of the most authentic Asian tea places in Newcastle. Unfortunately this time I didn’t try their food but I saw Udon and gyoza from the menu. I heard from my friend the food is really good so I am very much like to go back to this place in the future and try some food, then post more photos next time. plus I really like their interior design. Overall, I highly recommend this place to tea lovers.
My son and I called here after doing some DIY in his flat. It was mid afternoon and there were a few students scattered around on their laptops. We quickly ordered our drinks and food and it wasn't long before our drinks arrived. I had breakfast tea, my son had a black coffee. The tea was delicious, hot but not too strong and there was enough for 2 cups. My son said his coffee was really good too. We sat for a long time waiting for our food, eventually one of the staff came over and apologised for the delay with our food as they were having a problem with the app?
Anyway, another 5 minutes passed and our food arrived, and I have to say that it was delicious. We both ordered the Block & Bottle bacon and sausage, Northumbrian eggs served on Northern rye sourdough bread, it really was worth the wait.
Overall a great experience.
