We went to the Rusty Cutter to celebrate a 16th birthday. It was quite busy when we arrived but we were shown to a nice clean table at the back of the restaurant.
The server was attentive and she was very good at making sure our drinks were refilled.
We had some lovely food and the portion sizes were just right. Really enjoyed this family celebration. Thankyou.
I originally called to book for 6.30, but it went to automated service asking me when and what time I wanted to book. The 'person' highlighted a table could be booked at 8.30, which I didn't want. I called again, same happened so thought there was nothing available until later. Luckily my husband went online and booked for 6pm. When we arrived the restaurant was quire empty. Just wonder if phone system is putting people off by indicating its full, when in reality its empty ! Food was great though !
I visited today with my partner, our children, my parents and my mother in law. It was VERY busy and quite loud in there when we arrived. Our waiter, Will, warned us that there would be a wait in food and drink due to how busy it was. Our drinks order was taken and we had to wait some time for them to arrive. We then ordered our food which was a bit longer than we’d usually expect to wait but it wasn’t terrible. The starters were all hot and delicious. When the mains came out there were items missing from our plates. Will sorted this out for us quickly. All if the food was really tasty and we all enjoyed our meals very much. Will was working so hard, serving many tables and was rushed off his feet! He still managed to be attentive, checking all was on with our meals and if we needed anything else.
