Visiting Wetherspoon pubs in England is one of our greatest pleasures. We probably ate and drank at around 25 different Wetherspoon pubs so far. But I can say that one of the best among them is "the bottle kiln". That was an outstanding experience. The service, particularly by Robin! such a nice gentleman was exceptional. He provided top-notch service that truly enhanced our visit. The pub was clean, the atmosphere was great, and it's evident that the staff takes pride in maintaining high standards. This one stands out for its excellent service and overall quality. Highly recommended!

4 stars for the service, simply because the barman was a good 'un and knew his stuff. Shame about the waitress who delivered our food - on very hot plates. She passed them to us from across the table, so we had to take them without the cloths that she had...!! Ordered a well done steak, that was 75% uneatable.

Called in for lunch whilst visiting friends. Usual great value Wetherspoon pub. Excellent Panninis and a pint in this spacious converted mill building. Easy free parking on the sea front a short walk away.
