Why did we wait so long to try Coopers Thai? We've lived localy for 20 years and friends had recommended Coopers Thai and I've seen it in Time out etc yet we only went to the restaurant for the first time about 3 years ago.  The staff are friendly and assist with food recommendations and we love the cosy dining area. We have returned many times since and enjoy take aways too. The food is amazing, really tasty and well presented.

I'll keep this review brief.

Having just joined Zomato and noticing that no reviews had been written about Cooper Thai, I felt compelled to write a short review of this little treasure.

If you're looking for a posh Thai restaurant with luxury wood finishes and 5 star waiter service then this isn't the place for you. If however you're looking for a Thai with good honest food in homely surroundings, genuine Thai hospitality and BYO booze then look no further.

This place has been around for years and it's easy to see why when you visit.

Great food at reasonable prices run by a family who care more about pleasing their customers rather than making as much money as they can.

Had a very lovely time here. The food is excellent and the service was very warm and courteous. Almost like having dinner at your moms place. We were very well attended by New who was absolutely friendly and nice. Would certainly recommend 100%.
