Fantastic cafe in Halifax's lovely market hall. On a cold day it is the perfect place to warm up, wrapped in one of the cosy blankets provided and order a Russian hot chocolate. The food is varied, different, homemade and tasty. We had pancakes, which were delicious and took home some lovely homemade Russian biscuits. There are vegan choices too. A great find and a must if you are visiting Halifax.

Cosy little cafe situated in the market. Excellent selection of hot beverages. Great food and friendly staff.
Lovely little café inside the market hall great selection of teas at very affordable prices and the food was really good too. We had the beef borscht soup which was very tasty and hearty I recommend opting for the added sour cream it does add to the experience. We also had the beef and rice cabbage rolls which came as 2 to a portion in a lovely tomato sauce lastly we opted for the buckwheat and cabbage dumplings 🥟 there was 5 to a portion and we opted for the added fried onions on top which I highly recommend. Once finished with our main there is a lovely selection of homemade biscuits and cakes to have with your tea, the walnut cookies are a must. Would definitely return.
