We have stopped off for a pint during our hike with the dogs over the Easter Weekend. The staff were super attentive and really welcoming to us and our fur babies 🐾 so we decided to book and have dinner the following evening. We were told we could bring the dogs as well into the bar area for dinner and they can have a doggy dinner! We'll this obviously went down well with not just us but BOTH dogs 😋 .... if I am honest I would of even the doggy dinner myself it looked that good. Myself and my partner had the Sunday Roast ourselves and it did not disappoint! So tasty and delicious Gravy! Hats off to the chef and of course the amazing staff! We will be back! It's not our local area but we house swap with my sister so this will certainly become our regular when visiting! Well worth a visit! Thank you 😃
Very nice little place. This is somewhere you're not likely to know about unless you know someone who's been or have seen the reviews online as it's tucked away in a lovely quiet location. The menu isn't massive, but there were plenty I could have chosen for all three courses, and a lot of thought had gone into the dishes, it's not just the usual run of the mill pub menu that you seem to get in a lot of places. All food is cooked fresh, and cooked very well, and is very reasonably priced. The service was great too, all the staff were really friendly. Highly recommend.
The view up there is amazing. Had a lovely meal tonight with my lass (whom of which is vegan) and her mum. We found the food delightful, vegan menu gets a big thumbs up. Even had a little bit of pud as we were tempted by the vegan cake and ice cream. Would recommend.
