Ordered the halloumi chips and Margherita with olives and mushrooms. Food was excellent, and general vibe was really good.
However, I think they forgot to put the fresh basil on the pizza.
There’s no shortage of good wood fired pizza in Trafford.
So when the urge strikes you, you’ll be able to scarf a tasty pizza with that stupendous juxtaposition of soft melted and tenderly cooked toppings over a pliable yet properly thin base.
The crust has good air-pockets but could have done with a tad bit more leopard spotting.
Flavour wise it was closer to a Sicilian or Roman pizza but without the thick bread like crust or rectangular servings you might be used to. My son is not keen on sour dough cold fermented and kids will find it very palatable if all they’ve been used to is Domino’s, Pizza Hut or (shudder) supermarket pizza.
As with all good pizza, Vito’s pizzas are an ephemeral thing, best enjoyed pipping hot and washed down with a good Cassavechia and Montepulciano before walking it off back home.
Brilliant food, honestly some of the best pizza we have ever tasted !
Only recently moved in to the area and this is the first takeaway we have had - we will definitely be coming back in the future.
They forgot the halloumi fries from our order but we called and within 5 mins they had dropped the fries to our house.
