Mooching away from a stuffed motorway whilst heading for the airport we happened upon this neat hideaway. It was humid so we chose to eat outside. The place was clean and fresh. I used the rest rooms, they were clean and fresh no stale Odors or smells of cleaning agents. Everybody was friendly. We were acknowledged by all the staff with a smile and it was very welcoming. It was quiet and our table was two from the end. Drinks were ordered and delivered swiftly. A biting pint of magners over ice later I ordered the calamari. Caprese salad, and the risotto funghi.
The food was fresh and well presented the smell of
Torn basil over the plate was reassuring. The calamari was cooked well. The risotto was excellent. I like Italian food. I visit Rome often and I don’t like poor service. I have to say, the privacy, the checking in with the meal and the strawberries as a finish was a delight. Genuinely we both
Left satisfied and remarking that we had found a great new diner. We’re loyal that way Me and Mike.
So, well done guys, you’ve two new fans.

Not been here in a few years if I'm honest. Down to the food being a bit hit and miss. Decided to give it another go. Couldn't fault it. Food was more than excellent and the service was second to none. The waiter advised on a bottle of wine I hadn't tried before. Great choice we ordered 3 bottles !! Going again tomorrow with family for a birthday dinner. Can't wait
