Lovely owners and staff, very attentive and helpful with current regulations. We went on our last family get together b4 we knew restrictions were looming. Glad we did, the mixed fish platters were yummy, for both elders and youngsters.. the mains on the whole really nice. Think the meat outshone the fish dishes on the mains! My pork 3 ways was perfect thank you staff.. loved the pulled pork lollipop/ball. Too stuffed for dessert and so were the younger adults so that's a testament in itself!

We went for a meal last night in Battleburys we were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to our table. The restaurant is lovely and spacious with wooden tables and chairs plus a pew . We were delighted to be sitting on the original pew which had been saved from the local church. A lovely bit of history. The menu is just right with a great mix of choices . We shared a Meze which was just right to start the meal. Followed by a beautiful smoked haddock florentine and I had the local sausages . You must also try the wide variety of gins they hold as they are fantastic , I tried Marylebone which was strong but very creamy. A lovely experience all round delightful staff a great menu and nice surroundings
