An enjoyable meal, the starters were excellent, tasty, and fresh. Lamb main was again delicious. Unfortunately, the chicken was a bit tasteless, the sauce was lovely but the chicken was lacking in tast. Need marinated longer. There was on street parking around the corner but only three spaces in front of the restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant itself was lacking. It did improve when some background music was finally put on. First World problems, I know, but that's just my views.
Love our local Indian restaurant.
Ali and his team know their food and how to look after their customers.
We've been going here for year's and can't remember a bad experience.
This has to be one of Scotlands best Indian Restaurants.
Amazing food, with friendly staff that are very helpful at explaining each dish and it origins. The restaurant specialises in Bangladesh Cuisine, but many other dishes are available from their very comprehensive menu.
We were met and greeted by the owner, Ali, who made us feel very welcome, showing us to a comfortable table.
Menus and drinks were delivered promptly while one of the waiters helped with explanations on the dishes we chose.
Both courses arrived with perfect timing. We chose Bengali Shish Kebab and Meat Samosa as starters, followed by South Indian Chicken, and Naga Lamb for the main. Instead of a plain rice dish, we ordered Prawn Biriani. All of the food was simply sublime.
I would definitely recommend visiting. A definite 10/10
