Visited for a birthday dinner and was brilliant. The ambience and atmosphere was great, which, for a Monday evening is not common. We had a reservation but still had to wait 5mins at the bar for our table. Our waiter was called Gift and was excellent - attentive, helpful, provided recommendations and really helped to make the experience. Food was delicious, it's not the cheapest (with tip and 2 alcoholic drinks, it was £60 a head) but it deserves it. when they found out it was my birthday, they gave a simply additional side on the dessert which was nice. The donuts were so good, definitely recommend. The only negative was that there were additional drinks on our bill but when we pointed that out, they were immediately taken off. Would thoroughly recommend and sure we will revisit again. There's a great pub opposite if you want to grab a drink beforehand and a car park only a few minutes walk.
This is a mix of Theatre and restaurant the food is very nice. Some of the dishes are presented in a very theatrical way. The atmosphere is good, however it is not the cheapest place in the world. I just feel like something is missing to make it five stars.
We arrived for our anniversary dinner and were made to wait at the bar for around 10 minutes as the counter table was not ready so that was a dissapointing start. The food itself is nice enough but as other reviews have already highlighted, it is perhaps more style over substance. The decor is stunning, needless to say. The highlight for us was Bijay (head sushi chef) who was so brilliant, made us the best dishes we had of the night and was just so attentative and friendly. A real asset to the restaurant.
They did give us a complimentary mochi dessert for our anniversary which was a nice touch.
We would return but I do think they need to work on tables being ready on time as that seems a common issue from other reviews too.
