Zizzi - Bluewater

Can't go wrong with Zizzi's, always consistently tasty. Not sure if it is me but have the pizzas gone smaller? Also, I do have a gripe on the waiters/waitresses interrupting conversations to ask if everything is good. There is a time and place to do this and you can see when the best time to do this is. This is not just limited to Zizzi's as other restaurants do this. I know they think this is good customer service practice but they need to get better at the timing.

I had the salmon & prawn fresh pasta which was really tasty, plenty of fish and flavour and would absolutely eat it again. The waitress was very engaging and chatty/jokey with us. Food (starter & main) came out very quickly and a decent size portion starter (garlic bread with cheese). The only negative was in relation to the atmosphere as the music was very loud for a restaurant which made having conversation as a group quite challenging and uncomfortable and left me with a headache

Thank you so much zizi! I had lunch here today and it was amazing. They were super accommodating to the dietary requirements! The food was amazing but I was so impressed with the staff more than anything. I had lunch with my elderly grandparents and aunt and the staff were so kind, helpful and patient with us, and were super friendly dealing with our dietary requirements (gluten free and chrones disease). I would love to thank the staff member (sorry I don’t her name!) who was wearing a grey blazer and white top today- 21/6/23: she was incredible. She was so patient, friendly, helpful and kind. She was amazing at answering my aunt many complicated questions about the ingredients for her dietary requirements and was super with my elderly grandparents who were slow to know what they wanted. The other staff were incredible and friendly too and were super fast to take our order and bring it out. But this women especially made my meal at zizi’s easy and enjoyable. Thank you so much grey blazer lady! I really appreciated your patience!

Ziz ok - Visited one evening with my father and brother. Tad expensive but the food was ok, if a little lacking in flavour. Started with Chicken Spiedini - fancy but didn't go on the honey dip, would have preferred the king prawn version if I'm honest. Nastro Assurro Beer was served with a ice cold glass, so nice touch. Mains were all calzone carne piccante, tasty until I discovered the chilli peppers! Who the hell decided to chillis in Italian food?! Given the up and down reviews, Deco and staff were ok and attentive in our experience. Then again it wasn't that busy. However don't expect to pay in cash, as they only accept card payment...4/5

My partner and I had our first date here a couple of years ago, last night he took us back for my birthday and he proposed! The staff were amazing. They had helped him plan for a few weeks before, walked him around the restaurant to choose the perfect table. I really wish I had got the staffs names but in my excitement, I forgot. Thank you to all of them and the meal was amazing too!!
